A dusted picture frame in a corner of the Troop's Leader office reminds us of our
Troop's Age. The command of our first Troop Leader Stinou Antoniadi carries the
date: 5th November 1952. This is the official birth recording of our Troop
because after a lot of research, we discovered that the history of our Troop dates
from the early 50's somewhere in today's Themistokli Dervi Street, with founders,
the former principal of the Pancyprian Lyceum of Economics in Nicosia, Mr.
Kyriakos Neocleous and the memorable Scout Leader Aristidi Ioannidi.
Since then, the Troop
has been operating with disruption, with a rich program, with
lively presence whenever
and wherever duty calls.
All of our Leaders
and cooperatives, have contributed in buildind a magnificent
structure, which
today is one of the most active Troops in the state.
It is our duty to dedicate this page to all of our leaders.
